Practice slice of life

It’s cold and I’m freezing. Just wearing a sweatshirt when it is like 27 degrees is a bad idea. But it was a mistake to leave the house in the first place. My extremely overprotective parents got mad a me for sneaking out of the house. But I only went to the back ally to talk to my friends. The ally is only like 25 feet away from the back door of the house. That was the first and probably be my last because I got caught my last time leaving the house alone. It was part my fault because I lost track of time. But my mom would not have found out if my friends would have just shut up. Anyway that is all that has happened in my life at the moment. But thankfully my parents haven’t disowned me.YET.

I chose to write about doctor assisted Suicide. I chose to write about it because anything medical really interests me. I really do want to be a trauma surgeon. So I like to research about medical stuff. And because this topic is about doctors help sick patients end their lives, I would obviously want to read and learn about it.It also is their choice on how they want to die. And because of that it also about what they get to choose and I also like to read about the freedom in people’s choices.

Uniforms

Dress codes and uniforms are one of the most (in my opinion) not fair. Out of females and males, females are more targeted when it comes to what we wear. It is also not fair because not all clothes and including uniforms, fit all people the same. Some people are tall but in some situations it’s girls. When it comes to dresses,shorts and skirts there are rules, just like any other type of clothing. But girls that are taller for their age (sometimes) can’t wear them because of the dress code. All girls have long arms but that still also includes tall females. But clothing companies don’t make the skirt,dress or shorts well because of how tall they are. I also have to face that problem because I am tall for my age and just trying to find clothes that you like but also having them at a finger tip level is hard. Also uniforms there could be people who’s family is dealing with financial problems abound sometimes don’t have enough money for the uniforms. Just in all it’s not fair because you also don’t get to express yourself through your clothing.

Snow day

It was Thursday and I was in excel. We found out there would probably be no school. I was both happy and bad. Happy because there would be no school but sad because I had more homework then usual,I had no plans, and I would probably spend more time doing chores then just relaxing. Which I hated doing. But during a after school program it was official. We had no school and we would have a three day weekend. During the program we got to play at the Emerson gym. I played basketball with some other kids in the program. But at the end I stepped on someone’s foot and then I ended up falling hard on my ankle. Good thing that it was at the end tho because that hurt. When I got home, I wrapped up my ankle and put some ice on it. Then I just sat on my bed doing my homework because I just wanted to get that over with first instead of doing it over the three days off. After two or three of working, I started yelling for my sister who doesn’t do anything around the house to help. She actually did come but only after I brided her with some candy. She got my food and by food I mean just a simple apple. Most of the weekend I spent only some time on bed because of my ankle. I still had to do chores around the house though but it wasn’t fair. Because everyone in the house got to watch Netflix all day.

Opposing side of Blackfish

I think that killer whales should not be kept in captivity but I have two reasons why someone would say that they should stay in captivity. Number one,it makes a lot of money at the front gate. Yes, the tickets to get into sea world make a lot of money but they don’t use the money towards the orcas. Maybe just a small majority of the money goes to the fish to feed the killer whales but that could just be it. Number two, It fun to watch them do fun tricks. It might be entertaining to watch the killer whales do flips and work with the trainers but it just not okay. They don’t have that much space to move. Orcas are big animals so the should have a very large to swim in. They should not be crammed into these small pools when in the wild they swim up to 100 miles a day.

Quarter three goals

My goals for this quarter are simple. I want to get better grades and get my homework in on time. But as I am writing this, this is three days over due. As you can see I’m doing great with my new goals. But I actually do want to fix the way I do my work. I want to get my grades up (mostly because of my mom),get my work in on time and focus and work hard on my homework or anything like that. I do try but apparently I have to try harder to get to my goal. I’m just too lazy sometimes and don’t want to do anything. That is what my mother says at least.

Sea world kills

                                      Orcas in danger 

When you think of sea world, sometimes you might think of dolphins and orcas. But the thing is that you might think that sea world is a fun and magical place,but it isn’t. When people hunt down the orcas to capture them, they would use boats and choppers/helicopter to locate them. But since orcas are really smart, the males would go one way, while the females and calf’s would go in a different  direction. But the hunters would find them. Then take the calf’s and ship them off to sea world. When they would arrive, they would then be put in a tank and then they would train them. Then they would start in shows. Blackfish is a documentary based on the practices of  sea world and how they treat and make their animals live in their environment. They have trainers that used to work at sea world and they talk about how the orcas had to live. But when they talk about the orcas and how they would have the orcas live in captivity. But they focus more on one whale, and that Tilikum. Tilly was the largest killer whale in captivity

In Blackfish they talk about how the killer whale have to live in such a way. Imagine that you were taken from your family and then forced to be used as entertainment. It’s not really fair for them.
